Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data fiorde.pt collects, what we use it for, and your rights over it.

2. What we collect

  • Contact form: name, email, company, service of interest and message.
  • "Register your interest" form (AI training for SMEs): profile, name, email, company or organisation, region, and, if you provide them, municipality, industry, number of employees, number of people to train, interests, message and your permission to receive updates. We also record the page language and, where present, campaign parameters from the URL (UTM).
  • Technical browsing data, such as IP address and browser type, processed by our hosting provider to deliver and protect the site.
  • Site usage data collected by measurement tools (see section 7).

We do not ask for sensitive data. Please do not include it in your messages.

3. Why we use your data, and on what basis

  • To reply to your request and, if you ask, prepare a proposal: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.
  • To send you updates about the AI training initiative and related services: only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
  • To protect the site and its forms against abuse and spam: Fiorde’s legitimate interest.
  • To measure how the site and our campaigns are used (see section 7).

4. Who processes data on our behalf

  • Cloudflare: site hosting and form delivery.
  • Google (Google Workspace): receiving requests by email and, where applicable, logging them in an internal spreadsheet.
  • Google (Google Analytics): site usage statistics.
  • OpenAI: advertising campaign measurement.

We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for their marketing.

5. Transfers outside the European Economic Area

Some of these providers are based outside the European Economic Area and may process data there. You can ask us for more information about the safeguards that apply, using the email in section 1.

6. How long we keep data

We keep data only for as long as needed for the purposes above. Data used to send you updates is deleted when you withdraw your consent.

7. Cookies and measurement tools

The site uses Google Analytics, to understand how it is visited, and an OpenAI pixel, to measure advertising campaigns. These tools may use cookies or similar technologies. We never send them the content of our forms, such as your name, email or message.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

8. Your rights

You can ask for access to, correction, deletion, restriction and portability of your data, and you can object to its processing. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time, without affecting earlier processing.

To exercise these rights, email [email protected]. You also have the right to complain to the Portuguese data protection authority (CNPD), at www.cnpd.pt.
